Jim Fulton
Founder & CEO
Jim has worked in printing for over 45 years, starting an offset printing company in 1984 and gradually transitioning that company into the 48 Hour Books we know and love today. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Jim enjoys spending time with his growing family (his wife of 43 years, three children, and seven adorable grandchildren).
Lisa Fulton
President
Lisa is passionate about all things books. She's been with 48 Hour Books for 19 years and earned a BFA in writing, literature, and publishing at Emerson College in Boston. When she's not caressing book covers at the local bookstore, you can find her at home binge-watching Gilmore Girls or laughing nonstop with her husband and their three incredible children.
Kirby Twigg
Production & Operations Manager
Kirby has been working with Jim Fulton (Founder and CEO of 48 Hour Books) for over 30 Years and is very knowledgeable in all aspects of printing and finish production. He has been working in the printing industry for nearly 40 years. Kirby was an integral part of launching our Las Vegas location, which now serves the West Coast. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and camping with his wife.
Kyle F.
eBook Specialist & Videographer
Kyle is your one-way ticket to getting an eBook version of your book! He majored in film and photography at Emerson College and utilizes both as a member of 48 Hour Book’s marketing team. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking for his wife, podcasting with friends, and chasing around his three kids as the dreaded Tickle Monster.

Marketing & Social Media Manager
Marcy manages our Marketing department and has been with 48 Hour Books for 14 years. She’s a proud Ohio State alum and when she’s not managing our social media, you can find her exploring Northeast Ohio’s metro parks or playing competitive volleyball.
Andrew G.
Customer Service Manager
Andrew is our Customer Service Department Manager and has been with 48 Hour Books for 12 years. His goal is to assist his team in providing top notch service to each and every person they come into contact with. When he isn’t working, he enjoys hiking Ohio’s many beautiful parks and trails, listening to and playing music, as well as spending time at home with his wife and three dogs.

Beth has been with 48 Hour Books for 11 years. She loves working with our customers and helping them get their books made. When she is not working she enjoys gardening, woodworking, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Michael D.
Customer Service Lead
Michael has worked in our Customer Service department since 2020. He earned his BA in English and MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Akron. When not quietly reading or writing, Michael loves playing the drums loudly for all his neighbors to hear.
Malia S.
Customer Service
Malia joined 48 Hour Books in 2016 once she decided to leave health care, as she has a Medical Assisting Degree. When she is not at work helping our customers, you might find her living the “Soccer Mom” life cheering her son on, while her teenage daughter hides from mom’s excitement. She bubbly, outgoing and often high energy, which works out well for her love of shooting darts. This allows her to meet new people when playing in a league, in a tournament or with friends throughout the week.
Mark V.
Customer Service
Mark attended Kent State in the 80's, then finished his degree at the University of Redlands in California. He is a self-professed "super nerd" of all things Star Trek, Star Wars and Dr. Who. He loves to read and is a huge fan of Brandson Sanderson and all his Cosmere books. On weekends, Mark will grab his camera gear and visit the parks and trails across NE Ohio.

Customer Service
Rose has worked in our Customer Service department since 2024. When shes not working with customers, she can be found at home with her two dogs and her husband. Or you can find her being the favorite aunt to twelve amazing kids. She loves to read almost anything she can get her hands on, play video games with her friends, and get outside by hiking the local trails.

Miranda joined 48 Hour Books in the summer of 2024. Outside of work she spends most of her time with her two children and husband. In her free time she enjoys reading, being outside, and buying more books to add to her already overflowing bookshelf.

Lydia joined our team in 2025 after earning her Bachelor’s in Journalism from Kent State. When she is not at work she spends her time hosting game nights with her partner for their friends and family, taking her two cats out for walks in their stroller, and enjoying all things Northeast Ohio has to offer outdoors no matter the season.

Pre-Press Manager
Michelle works in our Prepress Department and has been with the company 16 years. She loves any kind of body of water and singing. When she’s not working you can probably find her somewhere hiking. She is also the proud mother of two awesome girls!

Pre-Press Lead
Raven is a bit shy and prefers her image not appear on the website. Raven is a trained printmaker & painter; she has been bringing these skills and aesthetics to our Prepress Department for the past six years. Outside of work, she enjoys trimming trees, tending her vegetable garden and making art.

April has been with 48 Hour Books for 15 years. She’s a proud Kent State alum. She loves spending time with her family and her two teens keep her active. She has two cats and a bunny.

Outside of work, Alysia loves being outdoors and spending time with her husband, their hairless dog, and their pug. She also enjoys reading or playing video games in her spare time. Alysia hopes to someday continue her passion for graphic design and earn her Bachelor's degree.

Marcus joined our team in Fall of 2023 after spending the previous 20 years as a PrePress tech & platemaker for the dry-offset printing industry. While not at work, he can be found chasing his son Eamon & 2 dogs around, playing Celtic-folk music around the area with his band Ballinloch, watching his beloved Glasgow Celtic FC, or traveling to see music & the places he loves.
Angelena A.
Pre-Press Technician
Angelena joined our team in spring of 2026. She is a multidisciplinary artist, published poet, and lover of all things mystical. When not at work or lost in her journal, Angelena can be found trying new restaurants, reading up on medieval history, and contemplating timeless philosophical problems. She aims to continue her education with an MFA in creative writing and dreams of fostering a dozen or more kittens.

Alyssa T.
Pre-Press Technician
Alyssa joined 48 Hour Books in August 2026 as a Pre-Press Technician. A lifelong creative with a background in graphic design and book production, she spends much of her free time writing and working on her independent LGBTQ+ publication, AceVision Magazine. When she isn’t obsessing over one of a dozen different projects, she’s probably listening to K-pop, going to concerts, or hanging out with her dog, Asiago. She loves books that are as pretty on the outside as they are inside, and she's happiest when she gets to make something look beautiful.
