We’re excited to announce that we’ve invested in a brand new state-of-the-art inkjet press that will be handling the majority of our book printing at our Twinsburg, Ohio location.
Get an Instant QuoteYour books may vary slightly in appearance if you’ve had them printed with us in the past or if you’re printing at both of our locations. Since our original printers were already incredible quality, you may not even notice the improvement—but we certainly do. Our new press will use the latest calibration technologies available to minimize shifts in color. They should print more true to your file and how it was originally designed, and will also have a finer line screen (those tiny dots that make up your images and text will be smaller and closer together, resulting in a more continuous tone-like appearance).
Our Las Vegas facility will continue to use the toner-based printers that you know and love, and you can continue to count on them to get books printed to the West Coast -- FAST. The quality is very similar, but if you print books at both facilities, you may notice slight differences.
Not only is the web inkjet a significant improvement in quality and consistency, but it also greatly increases our capacity. We expect to be able to take on more orders and higher quantities at a better price point once we’re settled in to using the new equipment.
Printed proofs may take a day or two longer to produce and will likely increase in cost in the year 2025. If you have a tight deadline, we may recommend skipping the printed proof entirely. We can send you a cover-only proof for a fee.
